Bangladesh Taekwondo team bagged four medals in 6th South Asian (SA) Taekwondo Competition held at Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal recently. Santwana Rani Roy and Shawpna Kirtonia of Bangladesh captured one silver medal each. Nahidul Islam and Roni Rroshad earned one bronze medal each.
A total of eight countries took part in the taekwondo meet. They were: Hosts Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Afghanistan and Bhutan.
Bangladesh Taekwondo team will return home today from Kathmandu.
