Engr. Md. Mahfujur Rahman on Thursday joined as the Director General of Bangladesh Water Development Board for 2nd time, said a press release.
Earlier, he served as Director General from 22 June, 2017 to 23 November, 2017 in the same organization. He obtained his graduation in Civil Engineering from BUET in 1982 and MS in Civil Engineering (Hydrolic) in 1989 from IHE Delft, Netherlands. Mahfujur joined in BWDB as an Assistant Engineer (Civil) in 1983. During his service period he worked successfully in Planning, Design, CDSP and other projects. He attended different meeting, seminar and training in Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Thailand and India.
