Leaders of Muradpur Allumium Factory Workers Union, chittagong exchanged view s with the Officer Incharge of Panchalaish Model thana of CMP Mohiuddin Mahmood yesterday at latter’s office premises.
President of the union Md. Mir Hossain led the delegation the representatives of the union apprised the different inconveniences of the owners and workers of the aluminum factories located in Muradpur area in city.
The union leaders said extortions, terrorism and drug abuse are gradually increasing these area and the owners are not free from the curse of extortions. The leaders also demanded their salaries and bonus on or before 25th Ramzan. They also demanded to stop the engagement of child labour in this sector as it is a risk bearing jobs. Other leaders of the union spoke on the occasion. Later a bouquet greeting the police official handed over to Officer Incharge Mohiuddin Mahmood, sources said.
