A madrasa student was allegedly rape and beaten to death by his brother in law named Shahid Miah at Dhampara Dhancha paddy field in Niklik upazila of Kishoreganj on Friday night.
The victim was identified as Roksana Akhter (11), daughter of Faijul Islam, a student of class four in Tnguriya Dhakil Madrasha of Nikli upzila under Kishoreganj district.
On receiving on information, police rushed to Dhancha paddy filed and recovered the dead body.
Additional Police Super Md. Rakib Khan visited the spot and sent to Kishoreganj General Hospital for autopsy.
A case was field in this connection with Nikli Police Station.
