Due to the current corona pandemic, the traditional film distribution has been halted since the closure of theatres all over the world for the last seven months.
It has created an unprecedented crisis for the whole industry in terms of releasing new titles. In the midst of this crisis, Rubaiyat Hossain’s Made in Bangladesh has brought a good news.
The film is getting released in the US after its successful premieres in numbers of film festivals and theatrical releases in France, Denmark, Canada and Portugal.
It will be available in 40 American film theatres from August 28. But not in the physical theatres, the audience will be able to watch the film online from the participant theatres virtual platform. Anyone from any part of the US can enjoy the film from home through this ‘Virtual Theatre Release.’
