The sale of advance rail tickets for all intercity trains from Chittagong begins in Chittaong railway station from Friday.
On the occasion of holy Eidul Azha and Durga puja , the people irrespective of ages and religions are anxious to meet their near and dear ones on this great religious festival in respective native houses.
The mad rush is witnessed in the rail station yesterday morning to procure the advance tickets.
The tickets of 8 intercity trains for October 2 next is being sold in advance from Friday 9 am. While contacted station manager told this correspondent that the rush for collecting tickets is experiencing this year than before and the tickets are being sold peacefully without any allegations.
Station Master sources said 529 tickets of Subarna Express, 591 of Mohanagar provati, 573 of Mohanagar Godhuli, 523 of Turna nishita, 304 of Chattal express, 375 of Udayan express, 401 of paharika express, 439 tickets for Meghna express will be sold in advance yesterday for October 2 next.
The advance tickets for October 3, 4 and 5 will be sold on September 28, 29 and 30 respectively, sources said.
