Abdullah-Al-Musayeb :
An orientation ceremony for the newly enrolled students of English Department under the Masters of Arts (Evening Program) at Comilla University (CoU) was held with a befitting manner on Saturday. To mark the program, the department chalked out a schedule of elaborate programs including a reception ceremony, discussion session and an orientation class.
Prof Dr Md Ali Ashraf, the Vice-Chancellor of the University was present as chief guest while MM Shariful Karim, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Chairman of English Department addressed the program as special guest. Md Harun, Assistant Professor of English Department and the Program Director of EMA 2nd Intake was the President of the ceremony.
Among other distinguished guests, Dr GM Moniruzzaman, Chairman, Department of Bangla, Md Habibur Rahman, Nadia Sarwar, Mohammad Akbar Hosain, Md Abul Hayet, Mr Naqibun Nabi, and Md Firoz Ahmed, Assistant Professors of English respectively were also present.
Mithila Afrin, a Masters student anchored the gathering.
