Former State Minister of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Prof Rafiqul Islam in a statement has expressed deep condolence over the death of Brig Gen (Retd) MA Malek, Special Assistant of former Chief Adviser to the Caretaker Government and also former Chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board. He also extended his profound sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
MA Malek died on Friday last in Australia. During his eventful career he served the nation with dedication imbued with the spirit of liberation.
