To dedicate the late hero Salman Shah, new generation singer Zinia Zafrin Luipa has rendered the popular play-back song of Shibli Sadik-directed movie Ananda Ashru titled Tumi Mor Jboner Bhabona in new way. This song was originally rendered by Kanakchapa in that film. Luipa released the song on YouTube channel of Anupam Recording at its studio in the city’s Moghbazar area in the evening of July 24.
Luipa released the song for first time sitting on the panel. National Film Award winner singer Belal Khan, Sabbir Zaman, Protik Hasan, owner of Anupam Recording Md Anwar Hossain, Mirakkel famed Arman, Luipa’s husband noted instrumental artiste Alamgir Hossain, Luipa’s mother Tahmina Haque, director Soumitra Ghosh Emon, among others, were present on the occasion.
Late Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul composed the song and he liked Luipa very much. To pay tribute to him, Luipa rendered the song. While talking in this regard Luipa said, “I had respect to Bulbul Sir and his composed songs during my childhood. I had dreamt to render his songs. I have respect to him a lot. Everybody pray for me as I can successfully continue my career in music.”
Luipa also said that she will perform in Russia on July 28. She will return to Bangladesh on August 9. Mir Masum has arranged its music in new way and Soumitra Ghosh Emon has made its music video.
