Among the new generation’s singers, Zinia Zafrin Luipa has established her position in the field of music by virtue of her melodious voice and rendering style. She secured top four contestants in Channel i-Sherakontho in 2015. Many noted music directors want to work with her now.
Luipa has already stepped into 10 years. She is satisfied with her present performance. Her husband Alamgir Hossain is a noted instrumental artiste of the country.
While talking about her one decade in music arena Luipa said, “Basically I firstly rendered songs for myself and also for my father. After contesting in Sherakontho, I got the opportunity to work with many noted singers and directors. Specially I am grateful to Channel i family, Runa Laila Madam, Sabina Madam, Emon Saha Dada to come into present position. In fact, I am also grateful to all who co-operated me in this field for last one decade. I believe I will continue music for next one decade successfully.”
She also informed that during childhood she first learned music from late Abdul Mazid. Later she received training from Ustad SM Belal Hossain and Md Rezwanul Islam. After coming from Bogura to Dhaka she has been attached with Priyanka Gope as her mentor. Begum Akhter’s Joshna Korechhe Aari, Nazrul song Aamar Apnar Cheye Apon Je’Jon, Gentleman, Ghure Firey Firey Ghure, Aamar Chokher Joler Makhey, etc are popular songs rendered by Luipa.
