Hailed from Mymensingh journey in the field of music of Lubna Lymi is slower rather than other promising singers. She believes to step slowly is good job. She never wants to step hurry. For the last few years Lymi presented three solo albums for her fans.
This time she has introduced a new song titled ‘Bhalobashi Bolte Chai.’ Its lyrics and music were composed by Lymi herself but its music was coordinated by Studio Dockyard. Its audio version has already been released on Youtube. It has already been used as Sangeeta’s Eid exclusive audio song.
While talking about her new song Lubna Lymi told this correspondent, “Lyrics of the song is very simple and natural. But there is deep expression of love. So I hope listeners will enjoy the song.”
Lymi added that video of the song will be released soon. Her debut solo album ‘Sotti Bolchhi Chhoy’ was released in 2012. Lyrics and tunes of all the songs of the album were composed by her. In 20015, her second album titled ‘Ektukhani Ghum’ came into limelight as a singer. In 2016, she released country’s first theatrical album titled ‘Gaan Golpo O Bhalobasha.’ Songs of this album were melodious.
After Eid, Lubna Lymi has been engaged with stage performances. This week she performed in Rajshahi. Lymi got primary training in music from Ustad Masud Karim. Later she also got training from Sumita Naha, Swapan Dhar and Anwar Hossain. When she was student of Class VI she completed six years diploma course from Udichi Mymensingh. As an enlisted singer, she has been rendering song at BTV since 2001. She completed SSC, HSC, Hon’s and masters in Social Welfare from Mymensingh Pre-Cadet School, Muminunnesa College and Anandamohan College respectively.
