The lowest temperature — 6.2 degree Celsius-was recorded in Chuadanga today, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The temperature in the district may drop further, Samadul Haque, in-charge of Chuadanga Met Office, told our Kushtia correspondent.
In a bulletin issued this morning, BMD said mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Barishal divisions and over some areas of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Mymensingh, Rangamati, Cumilla, Satkhira, Jashore and Kushtia and it may abate from some places.
