Jatiya Garments Sramik Federation on Wednesday claimed that the authorities of Lovecraft Garments are trying to shift their factory to another place without paying any compensation to the workers.
Addressing a human chain programme in front of Jatiya Press Club in the city, Federation president Amirul Haque said the authorities have “shut down the factory illegally” without giving any compensation to some 150 workers; rather, forced the workers to leave the factory.
