Long gridlock on Port Road, claimed working groups

Traffic congestions in the port connecting road and airport road from Customs circle is a regular phenomenon of the port city, which creates anxiety among the garments owners for timely productions and shipments.
Covered vans, lorries, heavy transport trucks, container movers are using this road.
Following the port bound congestions, the other roads beside the port are also facing congestions with other light and heavy transports including CNG and rickshaws. Congestions are normally experiencing from Agrabad to Barik building, Fakirhat, Neemtala, CC Road, Toll road, Barapool, customs road, Saltgola, EPZ, Airport road which creates deadlock within the city . Due to road congestions, the garments factory and port bound workers could not reach to their destinations in due time which damaging the huge working hours.
A number of commuters told this correspondent that finding no alternatives, we had to work on foot from port areas to Dewanhat lack of abundant public buses. A bus passenger told that if I ride in a city bus, it will take minimum two hours coming from Customs circle to Dewanhat crossing and some time lack of such city buses, we had to walk on foot . Conscious circles deadened a permanent solutions of traffic congestions and deployment of abundant public buses in city roads along with proper discharge of traffic police duties.
