Close Up 1 famed Sania Sultana Liza is a popular singer
of present generation. Right now she is very popular at the moment because of her song titled Pakhi. Liza informed that she performed at a show organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on June 26 before starting the strict lockdown. Earlier, she also performed at a function organised by the same ministry.
Due to beginning of corona pandemic, musicians did not become regular on stage shows as they used to be. Liza also missed the stage shows. While talking in this regard Liza said, “I always miss the stage performance. We, who like to perform on the stage, we always give priority to stage shows. Now musicians have become frustrated due to stopping stage shows. During pandemic, I did a little bit recording for my original song but stage show is very much necessary for us. I believe Inshallah we will recover the situation soon. Everybody should be careful and stay safe from the coronavirus.”
Earlier, under Akash Sen’s composition Liza rendered a song. This time she again rendered another song under his composition. Meanwhile, the duet song Pakhi rendered by Liza and Belal Khan was released on YouTube on April 9. The song was written by Musa K Mahmud while its tune was composed by singer Belal Khan. More than 75 lakh viewers watched this song till now. However, Liza is getting huge response for her rendered two songs titled Duti mon aaj nei dujonar and Ei mon joshnai for Ceylon Music.
Liza also rendered a song titled Bhabna, which has already been released. Lyrics and tunes of the song were composed by Hridoy Khan.
