Popular singer of present generation Sania Sultana Liza has become engaged with stage shows after travelling few days ago in USA by own way. During staying in USA, many organisers of Dhaka and outside the capital showed their keen interests to give her offer to perform in stage shows. But the singer left those proposals as she was outside the country. Meanwhile, from Bangladesh High Commission in Kolkata also showed their keen interest to arrange a show for Liza. But Liza has scheduled shows on December 16 and 17. So, she humbly refused to perform in Kolkata. According to Liza, she is taking rest willingly on December 13 and 14 after performing in three stage shows in Tangail and Dhaka in last three days in a row. While talking in this regard Liza said, “I have to pass hectic days for next 10 days for stage performances. During this busy time, my parents, brother and my instrumental artistes are co-operating me a lot. On December 15, I will perform in a stage show in Sylhet, on December 16, in Manikganj; on December 17, in Rupshi of Narayanganj; on December 18, in Dhaka; on December 19, I will take full day rest; on December 20, I will take part in a stage show in Brahmanbaria; on December 21, I will also take part in recording of Boishakhi TV’s Christmas Day’s special programme; on December 22,
I will perform in Chattogram; on December 23, in Rangamati; on December 24, in Dhaka; and on December 25, in Chattogram again.”
The title of Liza’s band is Liza & Light. Present line-up of the band is: Polash Faruki in lead guitar, Noyon in keyboard, Ratan in base guitar, Rakib in octopod and Emily in percussion. While sharing her feelings to perform in stage shows in a row Liza said, “In fact, due to corona pandemic, stage shows were totally stopped. Some shows were arranged but we worked with so much fear. Sometimes administrations did not allow us to perform in stage shows. Now corona situation in Bangladesh is improved and in tolerable situation, so stage shows started in full swing. After returning from USA, I have already performed in several numbers of stage shows in Cumilla, Sunamganj, Dhaka, Tangail and other places. I observed excitement among the audiences during these shows. As a singer, stage show is my main inspiration; audiences are my love of music. Combination of these two things I have become today’s Liza. I want to render songs perfectly before my death.”
Liza also said that music videos of her some original tracks are ready to release. Due to engage with some stage shows, she cannot get time to release these right now. Pakhi was Liza rendered last released mentionable oroginal song where Belal Khan was her co-singer.
