Prominent children-juvenile litterateur and cartoonist, former Editor of the monthly Sabuj Pata and the Agrapathik, Sheikh Tofazzal Hossain (72), breathed his last on 2nd February (Sunday) at his residence Shalmara Bhaban, Bordeshi, Aminbazar, Savar.
He has long been suffering from paralysis and other old-age complications.
He left behind sister, two daughters, grand-children and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried in the graveyard near Bordeshi Akheria Madrasa Etimkhana Masjid after Namaz-e-Janaza on Monday.
A popular literary figure, Tofazzal Hossain helped many budding poets and writers in building their literary career.
