Liton sets up emphatic 9-wkt win for East Zone

East Zone inspired by their opener Liton Das’s brilliant double ton went on to record an overwhelming nine-wicket victory over Central Zone on the third day of four-day Bangladesh Cricket League held on Monday at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
Chasing a paltry winning target of 56 runs, East Zone started their second innings on the third day (Monday) afternoon and they hardly had to sweat as they had a comfortable reached home making 57 runs for the loss of one wicket.
Earlier on the day, Central Zone resumed their second innings on the third day with overnight score at 65 for 2 and finally was dismissed at 198, allowing East Zone to complete the formalities needing only 56 runs winning target.
Earlier, East Zone were all out for 367 in t heir first innings in reply to a Central Zone’s first innings total of 224
