11th National Parliamentary election: Liton asks AL men to work unitedly for ‘boat’

Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) AHM Khairuzzaman Liton has asked Awami League (AL) leaders and activists to work unitedly for bringing the party to power again to continue the current pace of ongoing development in the country.
“The government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been implementing various development projects like Padma Bridge and therefore, this government needs to be brought to power again to continue current development spree,” he said.
Liton was addressing a public meeting at Shaheb Bazar Zero Point in Rajshahi city on Friday afternoon as the chief guest.
Former student leader Advocate Abu Raihan Masud, City Awami League general secretary Dablu Sarker, vice-president Shafiqur Rahman, joint secretaries Mustaque Hossain and Naimul Huda Rana also spoke.
RCC mayor said re-election of Awami League is very much needed to build a hunger and poverty-free Bangladesh as people of the country want to see continuation of the ongoing development process.
Liton, president of the city unit Awami League, expressed his optimism that “We will be able to win in the next general election under the leadership of Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina”.
