Lion Gani Miah Babul has been elected as the chairman of the newly formed nine-member permanent council of Jatiya Sangbadik Sangstha (JSS).
The other members of the sangstha are: Shamsul Alam Zulfikar, Nuruzzaman Prodhan, Ratan Kumar Roy, Shahjahan Mollah, Kazi Sirajul Islam and Shahadat Hossain Riton.
President of the sangstha Altaf Hossain declared the names of chairman and other members of the sangstha on December 27 last.
