UNB, Bhola :
Two people died in separate incidents of thunderbolt in Nazrulnagar and Hazariganj areas of Charfasson upazila on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Joynal Abedin, 60, of Nazrulnagar, and Nur-e-Alam alias Nuru, 30, son of late Jebol Haque of Hazariganj of the upazila.
Police said Joynal Abedin was struck by a lightning strike while working in crop field near his home during rain in Nazrulnagar area around 3:00pm and dead on the spot.
Meanwhile, Nur-e-Alam was also hit by a steak of lightning while working in his field during heavy rainfall around 3:00pm and died on the spot.
