Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over the country.
“Light to moderate rain or showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office press release on Wednesday.
However, the day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, reports BSS.
Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.4 degrees Celsius at Sylhet while the minimum temperature on Wednesday was 24.0 degrees Celsius at Rangamati.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am on Wednesday was recorded 64 mm at Dinajpur.
