Light to moderate rain with gusty wind likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Tuesday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country”, said a met office bulletin .
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added, reports BSS.
Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded by 35.5 degree Celsius at Sylhet and minimum temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 24.1 degree Celsius at Khepupara.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty four hours till 6am on Tuesday was recorded by 70 millimeters (mm) at Barishal.
