Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur in different parts of the country, a met office press release said on Thursday. Moderately heavy to heavy falls also may take place at isolated places over the country.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country. The axis of monsoon trough runs through Rajsthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated trough extends up to North Bay.
Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.

Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature on Thursday was 25.0 degrees Celsius jointly at Tangail, Sayedpur and Tetulia.Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00 am yesterday was recorded 57 millimeters (mm) at Srimangal.
