Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at places over the country in the next 24 hours.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am on Saturday,” said a met office release here.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
Maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 36.4 degree celsius at Jessore in Khulna division and Saturday’s minimum temperature 24.0 degree celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division.
Country’s highest rainfall in last twenty-four hours ending at 6 am on Saturday was recorded 92 millimeters (mm) at Srimangal in Sylhet division.
