Late President Md. Zilllur Rahman 1st Division Cricket League formally ingurated on Saturday at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam stadium in Kishoreganj town.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon MP was attended as chief guest while Deputy Commissioner Md. Sarowar Morshed Chowdhury the inaugurating ceremony.
BCB Director Mahbub Anam, Gazi Golam Ashfia, ACC all rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan, bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahan were also present as special guest.
It was addressed amon others by Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled, BCB Director Syed Ashfaqul Islam Tito, District Awami League President Advocate Kamrul Ahasan Shajahan, its General Secretary Advocate M.A Afzol, Poura Mayor Md. Pervaz Miah, ADC (General & DS) Torafder Md. Akhter Jamil and Distric Sports Association Secretary & Sadar UNO Abdullah-al-Masud.
A total of 31 matches including four quarter final, two semifinals and final will be held where to teams, split into four groups.
