Last batch of BD Olympics team leaves for Rio

The last and final batch of five-member of Bangladesh contingent left here for Brazil on Tuesday to participate in the 31st Olympic Games scheduled to begin from August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The golf team left for Rio this morning while the Archery team due to leave late last evening.
Earlier, shooting team, athletics team and swimming team left for Rio de Janeiro to participate in the mega event.
Bangladesh will represent in five disciplines. The disciplines are golf, shooting, swimming, athletics and archery.
The Bangladesh golf team: Mohammad Siddikur Rahman, AKM Abdullah Hel Baki (team leader) and Johari bin Abu Bakr (caddy).
Archery team: Shamoly Roy and Nisith Das (trainer).
Swimming team: Mahfizur Rahman Sagor, Sonia Akter Tumpa, Mezbahuddin Ahmed and Shirin (sprinters).
Athletics team: Mejbah Ahmed, Shirin Akter , Shirin Akter and M Shah Alam (team leader).
Shooting team: Abdullah Hel Baki and Club John Cresttenshon (trainer).
