An acute shortage of farm labour is hampering paddy harvest in Kotalipara upazila here.
Agriculture office sources said farmers are worried that the crops might be damaged if not harvested in time.
A target of cultivating 23,380 hectares of land for Boro paddy was fixed to produce 1.75 lakh tonnes yield but it might be exceeded, the sources said.
