The film Laal Sabujer Sur which sets to get world TV premiere today( Victory Day). Written by Faridur Reza Sagor, produced by Impress Telefilm and made with the assistance of the national film making grant. The film will be aired at 2:30pm on Channel I today( on December 16).
Thew story line of the film is -after the dark night of March 25, 1971, Emon along with his parents flew from the capital city to take shelter in a remote village called Ichapur. In the village, Emon met with a boy named Badol, whose parents were brutally killed by the Pakistani Army back in Dhaka. To avenge his parents Badol joined the freedom fight.
Motivated by Badol, Emon too goes to a training-camp for freedom fighters in order to prepare himself for the war. In the meantime, the Pakistani Army attacks the village killing hundreds of civilians including Emon’s parents. Now Emon, who has become more helpless and an orphan, must take very difficult life altering decisions.
Directed by Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, the casts of the are Omar Sani, Subrata, Sera Zaman, Rafiqullah Selim and Jhuna Chowdhury in leads roles.
