Kukkiwon Cup Taekwondo Competition, organized by Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation under the financial assistance of World Taekwondo Headquarter Kukkiwon, began on Saturday at the National Sports Council gymnasium here.
State Minister for Finance MA Mamman will inaugurate the two-day competition as chief guest.
Ambassador of South Korea Ahn Seong-Doo was also present as special guest at the function chaired by Fderation president Kazi Golam Morshed.
Federation general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana was also present.
Some 650 boys and girls from 45 schools, five clubs, 10 districts and different organizations are taking part in the meet.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder will be the chief guest at the closing function of the two-day meet on Sunday.
