Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has suspended all its academic activities until further notice after a brawl between two groups of students over a football match.
“The residential students have been ordered to vacate the halls,” said Registrar GM Shahidul Alam.
Male students have been given time until 5:00pm to vacate residential halls. Female students will have to leave their halls within 10:00am today, he added.
Students clashed over a football match between Amar Ekushey Hall and
Fazlul Haque Hall on Friday afternoon.
Police were deployed on the campus at night, said Shafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Khanjahan Ali Police Station.
