The yield strength of KSRM 500W is minimum 500MPa. This high strength is gained by the Q&T process of its state-of-the-art rolling mill that makes KSRM 500W capable of being used in civil construction even in the earthquake zones. KSRM 500W is stronger than conventional bars and ensures over 20% stronger structures with the same quantity of steel.
KSRM 500W has no embittering tendency during welding or cold deformation of welding joints due to its unique chemical composition.
This bar has superior welding capacity compared to conventional deformed bar. It can be butt-welded or lap-welded using ordinary electrodes for matching strength due to its low carbon content.
The Q&T process improves the homogeneity and repeatability of the mechanical properties of the rebar and keeps the quality of KSRM 500W consistent.
KSRM 500W is manufactured by thermo mechanical treatment process with no residual stress on the bars. This rebar of KSRM supports seismic designs due to its unique combination of strength, ductility and stress ratio.
KSRM 500W is produced by state-of-the-art rolling mills and keeps the bar straight as 180 degree. No more extra effort will be needed for straightening KSRM bar at the construction site.
