BSS, Sylhet :Bangladesh foreign head coach Lodewijk de Kruif blamed his defense to concede a goal, especially goalie Rasel who should have ran back but late to react.We allowed the visitors to take shots while he was not happy with his forwards especially Jahid Hasan Ameli who wasted three easy chances in the first half, he said after a post match press conference at the Sylhet District Stadium. “Our team took considerable time to settle down while our rivals settled quickly and forced our defense to become nervous. He was all praised for the other Zahid Hossain.Our team wasted a great chance of having a winning start but as usual whenever when we go into a big match, our players fails to take extra pressure and that why they failed to play to their true potentials on Thursday.Bangladesh coach admitted that he is disappointed and willing to take all the blame for the defeat. He urged the media not to be harsh toward the players as they have still have chance to qualify for the semifinal if they can win against Sri Lanka.”We will try to overcome our mistakes and will try our best to remain in the tourney by winning the last group match.” he added.
