Kotchandpur schoolgirl killed with pesticide

Some wayward boys had allegedly killed a minor schoolgirl putting pesticides in her mouth when the girl had refused their love proposal. The girl succumbs at 250-bed hospital at Jessore on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Ripna Khatun, 13, dauaghter of Ripon Hossaain of Ahsannagar-Kullagachha of Kotchnadpur upazila. She studying in class seven at the village school. The police had arrested two women REshmaa Khatun and Sumi Khatun for their alleged involvement in instigation the wayward youths.
The main wayward boy was identified as Nazmul Hasan, son of Alam Hossain of Mirzapur village of Sailkupa upazila. He was a cousin to Ripna.
Ripna’s father Ripon Hossain and the locals said, Nazmul Hassan had been residing at the same area in the village following their close family relation. Nazmul along with his associates frequently used to disturb Ripna on her way to school and out side the house.
In the evening of Wednesday Nazmul and his associates called Ripna and proposed for enjoying with them. Ripna informed the matter to her parents instantly that led a quarrel.
