The final of the Kool-BSJA Media Cup Football Tournament will be held today at the BFF Artificial Turf.
The four quarter-final matches of the football competition was held at the same venue on Thursday.
Dhaka Tribune, Channel24, Jagonews24.com, ETV moved into the semi-finals on the same day.
In the day’s first quarter-final match, Dhaka Tribune defeated Janakantha by 4-0 goals.
In the day’s second quarter-final match, Channel 24 edged past Daily Star by a solitary goal.
In the day’s third quarter-final match, Jagonews24.com beat Samakal by 1-0 goals.
In the day’s fourth quarter-final match, ETV overcame Jamuna TV by 3-1 goals in the tie-breaker.
Today Dhaka Tribune will take on Jagonews in the first semi-semi-final at 8.30 am and Channel 24 will meet ETV in the second semi-final at 8.30 am.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final today at 11.00 am.
After the final match, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while Chairman of Max Group Golam Md Alamgir and Head of Marketing of Square Toiletries Limited Malik Md Sayeed will be with him as special guests.
