Art & Culture Report :To mark the 10th anniversary of literary and art magazine Kali O Kolom, a poetry recitation event titled Kobita Kothon was held at the Bengal Shilpalaya in the city’s Dhanmondi area recently. The seventh instalment of the event saw participation from poets Asad Chowdhury, M Azizur Rahman, Faruq Alamgir, Baitullah Kaderi, Minar Mansur, Farid Ahmed Dulal, Kazi Rosy, Shahzadi Anjuman Ara, Pias Majid, Tokon Thakur, Zahid Haider, Bulul Moholanabish, Hayat Saif and Shamsul Arefin – who all recited their own poems. Compared by Asad chowdhury, the welcome address of the programme was delivered by Editor of Kali O Kolom Abul Hasnat, while member of the editorial board, Luva Nahid Chowdhury, also Director General of Bengal Foundation, delivered the vote of thanks. n
