KMCH doctor being brought in Dhaka

As the condition of coronavirus infected Dr Masood Ahmed, an assistant professor of the Department of Urology of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) has deteriorated, he is being flown in Dhaka.
The Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) said on Thursday that he would be brought to Dhaka by a helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force.
It is learnt that Dr Masood Ahmed was providing treatment to patients amid coronavirus pandemic. However, he was infected with the deadly virus. The samples of 96 people of the KMCH including Dr Masood were tested on April 18 last. The results received on the following day showed that only Dr Masood was infected with the virus. He was also the first coronavirus infected doctor in Khulna district.
After the appearance of coronavirus symptoms, Dr Masood Ahmed was shifted to the isolation unit.
Dr Masood Ahmed is a relative of national cricketer and Narail-2 constituency MP Mashrafi Bin Murtaza.
