UNB, Dhaka :
Malaysia will start sending demand letters within a next couple of days to hire workers from Bangladesh under the Government-to-Government Plus (G2G Plus) agreement.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam said this in a Facebook post after his meeting with Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Hj Aman in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
He also said, Malaysia will issue cards for those now living in Malaysia ‘irregularly’ so that they can live and work in Malaysia. They both, at the meeting, discussed bilateral issues apart from the Rohingya one.
The State Minister suggested willing Bangladesh nationals to take decisions knowing their work area in Malaysia. He hoped that nobody will get involved in another job getting entry into Malaysia for a particular job.
