Hundreds of tourists enjoyed a kite-flying festival on the sea-beach here on Saturday afternoon where local and foreign tourists participated with their colourful kites.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Ali Hossain inaugurated the festival at Laboni point about 4 pm as chief guest while President of Bangladesh Kite Federation and Dhakabashi Md. Shukur Salek presided over the festival.
Among others, Senior Manager of Nitol Tata Motors Biswajit Saha, Bangladesh Tourist Corporation Officer Martin, General Secretary of Dhakabashi Shaheen Parvin, Vice-President of Kite Federation Abdul Barek Sona Miah and journalist Ahsan Sumon also spoke at the festival.
