The killers of the school girl Mim Khatun( 13) of Waria village under Kotchandpur upazila could not be arrested by the law enforcers in nine months of the killing incident.
The family members of the girl are now frustrated when the police failed to detect the clue and nab any one of the killers for an unknown reason.
Iqbal Hossain, a resident of Waria village said, his daauaghter Mim went to nearby Hujur Ali’s house to attend a religious meeting locally known as Islami Jalsa on October 30 evening and did not return home. Later the body of the girl was found in a mehegoni garden next day in a mehegoni orchard on the bank of Chitra River. The miscreants killed her after gang rape by some young men. Mim was studying in class seven in Dhopabila high school, he said.
Later , he filed a case with the Cognigence Court in Jhenaidah on December 13 in the same year (case number 727) against a disabled young man Raju mistakenly. Later he realized that the case was filed on the basis of fake information.
The father said, he filed another case in the court against Izazul, sosn of Kheder Ali, Billal Hossain, son of Khairul Islam, Nagar, son of Atiar Rahman, Iman Ali, son of Abdul Kader and some unknown of the village.
