An under-aged girl was allegedly abducted by a gang led by a young school teacher on September 22 from his parents, house under Goshairbari area under Sonatola upazila in Bogura.
Later victim’s father Hafizar Rahman lodged an abduction case against six accused including the main abductor and his cohort school teacher with Sonatola Police Station in Bogura on October 11 instant.
The victim was an under-aged girl of class seven of Boira Technical School and College of Sonatola of Bogura.
The accused were identified as bridegrrom Rafiqul Islam, 40, his cousin Roki, 35, of Goshaibari under Sonatola, fake marriage register Mostafizur, 45, of Telihata area, Aminul Islam, 60, Abdul Majid, 55 of Gabtoli and Kamal Shek, 30, of Shariakandi of Bogura.
Police said that following the case filing, police started to trace her out and at a stage, she was rescued by police from the house of the abductor’s relative house and arrested the main culprit Rafiq and the Headmaster of Telihata Moddhayapara Government Primary School and fake assistant marriage register Mostafizur from Goshaibari area under Sonatola of the district.
Victim’s father Hafizar Rahman said that his under-aged daughter was forcefully abducted from his house and later police rescued her and arrested two main abductors and Youth Rafiq had been inducing her for marriage and giving him threat for long period of time.
