Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on Friday night rescued a female student, who was abducted from Muradnagar of Comilla, from city’s Baizid area and arrested a kidnapper in this connection. The kidnapper was identified as Razib Meah, 18, hailed from Monohorabad village under Muradnagar upazila of Comilla.
ABM Foyzul Islam, Assistant Commissioner of the Detective Branch (DB) of CMP, said Jannatul Ferdous Srijani, an intermediate first year student of Shrikail Degree College in Comilla, was abducted from Muradnagar of Comilla on August 12 and the victim’s father Tazul Islam filed an abduction case with Muradnagar police station in this connection.
