A door-to-door salesman of vegetables in Khulna got a brand-new car after buying a Marcel brand refrigerator and registering it under the ongoing ‘Eid Mega Digital Campaign’. Iqramul Sarder, the hawker, is the second lucky customer who received new car after Roksana Khatun, a housewife in Meherpur, earlier this month.
According to sources, Iqramul bought a 12.5 cft Marcel refrigerator from Rana Electronics at Batiaghata on August 16 which cost only 24,500 BDT. His joys and happiness knew no bound when he was informed about having a new car.
The car was handed over to Iqramul on Sunday, (August 19, 2018). Khulna District Council Chairman Sheikh Haroon-ur Rashid handed over the key to him. The car handing ceremony was attended, among others, by Marcel Senior Assistant Director Milton Ahmed, Area Manager Firozer Rahman and Proprietor of Rana Electronics Md Masud Rana.
