Abdul Matin Khasru has been elected as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Bar Council (BBC), the highest professional body of lawyers.
A meeting of BBC held recently with Attorney General Mahbube Alam in the chair made Kharsu chairman of the executive committee (EC).
Awami League backed “White Panel” bagged majority with 11 posts while BNP-Jamaat minded “Blue Panel” secured 3 posts in the BBC election held on August 26.
Talking to BSS, Abdul Matin Khasru said role of EC is very important for the BBC activities.
He vowed to work for the professional betterment of lawyers as well as other welfares.
