11th National Parliamentary elections: Khaleda’s adviser Muktadir nominated for Sylhet-1

BNP nominated candidate and Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Adviser Khandaker Abdul Muktadir from Sylhet-1 Constituency is contest the upcoming general elections .
Muktadir will compete with Awami League nominated candidate AKM Abdul Momen, the younger brother Finance Minister AMA Muhith, in Sylhet-1 seat (Sylhet City Corporation-Sylhet Sadar).
With this, the main opposition political party has given nomination to 203 BNP candidates. Yesterday, the party unveiled the list of its final candidates for 202 seats, with at least 90 of them first-time candidates.
Besides, BNP allocated 17 seats among its Jatiya Oikyafront alliance partners–Gonoforum, Nagorik Oikya and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Rab) to contest in the upcoming general election.
Gonoforum was given seven seats while Nagorik Oikya and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Rab) got five seats each.
Meanwhile, the party allocated five seats among its 20-party alliance component Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).
