JnU Correspondent :Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Sunday said that Khaleda and Tarique won’t be spared from the charge of 21st August bombing for the purpose of killing Sheikh Hasina and for burning people to death during their nonstop blockade movement.The Minister and President of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASHOD), remarked it while speaking as the chief guest in a ceremony of photography exhibition on “Bangabandhu, Muktijuddho o Shadhinota (Bangabandhu, Liberation War and Independence)” to commemorate Nation’s Father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman jointly organised by Jagannath University (JnU) and Archive-71 held at the university central auditorium.”Democracy cannot absorb arsonists.. For democracy to flourish, Khaleda and Tarique Zia should be tried”, Inu said.”Bangabandhu did not compromise independence. To be a great leader, one should be brave and confident like him”, the minister said.. JnU Vice-Vhancellor Professor Dr Mizanur Rahman, as a special guest, said, “As a progressive nation, we should work together with harmony to fulfill the visions of the country’s independence, which was dreamt by the Father of Nation”. JnU Treasurer Professor Selim Bhuiyan, Advisor of Archive-71 AH Aslam Sani, JnU unit BCL President Shariful Islam and General Secretary Sirajul Islam also spoke, among others, in the programme.JnU Register Engineer Md Ohidujjaman conducted the whole programme. However, a total 155 photographs of Bangabandhu and liberation war were displayed on the ground floor of university administrative building (new). It is open for all from today to September 15.
