Staff Reporter :BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday has sited with the party’s highest policymaking forum standing committee.The meeting held at the party chairperson’s office at Gulshan in the capital city. the meeting began after 9:30 PM and it was continuing till filing of the report at about 10:30 PM.. The formation of the party’s next committee, remain political situation, UP polls and the governments move were the agenda of the meeting. The meeting presided over the party chief Begum Khaleda Zia.BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, StandingCommittee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Dr. Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain, L.General (rtd.) Torikul Islam, Brigadier General (rtd.) ASM Hannan Shah, Barrister Jamir Uddin Sirker, Dr. Abdul Moeen Khan, Mirza Abbas, Goeyswar Chanra Roy and Nazrul Islam Khan were presented on the meeting. Sources said, it was first time the standing committees meeting held after the party’s sixth national council, which was held last 19 March.
