Protesting the killing of numerous Palestinian people in Israel’s air-strikes on Gaza, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday said Israel has adopted terrorism as its state policy obliterating all signs of humanity to meet their hunger of imperialism.
In a statement, Khaleda, also a former prime minister, said, “Bloods of many Palestinian people, including women and children, are being shed while many others are being ousted from their homesteads as in the past due Israel’s such state policy.”
She also termed the air-strikes on the Palestinian people the cruellest military operation in recent times. “It seems that the clutch of vengeance won’t stop until the obliteration of the last existence of the Palestinian people.”
The BNP chief lamented that the Palestinian people are not getting respite from the Israel’s barbaric attacks on them in the holy month of Ramadan.
She urged the Israel government to immediately halt the heinous attacks on the Palestinian people.
Khaleda also called upon the United Nations and the international community to mount pressure on Israel to stop their destructive military operation.
The death toll from Israel’s five days of air offensive on Gaza has topped 120, and the campaign showed no sign of stopping on Saturday.
