BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia offered fateha at the rawja (grave) of the greatest Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) on Sunday night.
Khaleda, along with her family remembers, including her eldest son Tarique Rahman, arrived at Madina from Makkah on Sunday night, and offered fateha at the Prophet’s rawja, said her adviser Enamul Haq Chowdhury who is on her entourage. He said they also prayed
for the progress of the country and its people. Enamul Haq said Khaleda and her family members will be staying in Madina for a few days and offer prayers at Masjid al-Nabawi. On September 7, the BNP chief along with her entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a flight of Saudi Airlines while Tarique and his family members left London for Jeddah on the same day to perform hajj at the invitation of Saudi king Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
They left Makkah for Madina on Saturday after offering the concluding tawaf of Kaba Sharif.
The BNP chairperson is scheduled to return home on September 22.
