BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has congratulated Donald Trump as he was sworn in as the 45th US President.
BNP special secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon on Monday conveyed Khaleda’s message of felicitation to the US embassy in Dhaka.
Talking to UNB, Ripon said, BNP chairperson has greeted Donald Trump as he has been sworn in as the new US President. I handed over Khaleda’s felicitation message to the political chief of the US Embassy.
Besides, he said Khaleda greeted Antonio Tajani for being elected as the new President of the European Parliament. Ripon said Khaleda’s congratulatory message was handed over to the political chief of the Dhaka office of the European Union delegation.
